Who We Are

Even if you live in a big city like New Delhi or Mumbai or NOIDA, you don't have to go far to see us. We are near you, all around you, every day when you go to your office or shopping. But we bet you don't even see us.

VOICE OF SLUM - a Non-Governmental Organisation run by two Slum-dwellers themselves - Chandni and Dev Pratap Singh. It focuses on bringing slum kids into mainstream society.
  • Voice of Slum runs a school in Noida for slum kids, where besides education they make children aware of their rights, values and how to achieve their dreams. Voice of slum plans to run vocational courses for slum teenagers to impart them practical skills that can make them financially self-sufficient.
  • Voice of Slum also runs a magazine 'Slum Post’ where both the reporters and editors are slum kids themselves. Here the slum kid reporters highlight the problems slum kids face and the solutions to these challenges.

Together We Can
